Post-editing Machine Translation (PEMT)
I view Machine Translation (MT) as a tool in my linguist tool belt. In much the same way as we might use a dictionary or encyclopaedia to research terminology, MT can be used effectively to increase productivity. I help clients to avoid the pitfalls of relying exclusively on the machine by thoroughly editing and reviewing MT output, putting the human back into the text.
